This kind of D/S tapes has adhesive without any reinforcing film only, that is why we name them as the transfer tapes.There is a thin layer of adhesive on separation paper /liner/ and this adhesive is transfered from liner to bonded surface and empty liner is reeled inside of hand gun.
Because there is adhesive only, we interrupt simply and easily adhesive stripe by braking system on the roller/hand gun –we do not need any scissors or knives.
Characteristics and use
Transfer tapes are manufactured in many thicknesses from 30 up to 250 microns, mostly from acrylic and acrylic modified adhesives, that is why we have fantastic tapes for bonding paper and cardboards, plastics and even glass and metals. We can even bond rough and structured surfaces and some kinds of fabrics. We also have tapes, that could adhere to paper very well, but we can separate bonded parts later without any damage and stains. Special version of roller can apply adhesive covered and protected by liner – we can apply adhesive on many parts, store them and do bond later by removing liner.
